History of MDApplicants

Applicants helping the next generation of applicants.

  1. 2003: A place to share the application journey

MDApplicants launched on January 9, 2003. Created by Ryan Radecki, with support from Robert Sautter, it let medical school applicants share their academic backgrounds, school applications and outcomes so others could learn from their experience.

  2. A Student Doctor Network community resource

MDApplicants became a free service of the Student Doctor Network. Its applicant-contributed profiles helped make an uncertain process easier to understand, while reflecting individual experiences rather than official admissions statistics.

  3. 2026: Preserved in CycleTrack

The historical school data now lives in CycleTrack's Historical tabs. School summaries preserve the older reports and separate MCAT scales. Individual profiles and personal stories are not published in this archive.

These records offer a look back at medical school applications. They may not reflect admissions today.
