Mission
School research, practice core questions
Interviewers seemed uninterested in hearing my responses. Did not feel conversational at all.
How kind the admissions people were.
I used Chat GPT to find the most asked questions from William Carey Med school interviews, had it help me create strong ideas and answers, then practiced my answers without looking at anything.
They had one team meeting and while I was asking my questions at the end I could see another student entered and was waiting in the virtual waiting room. Made me feel rushed. They had me interview for a year earlier because they needed more students in their 2026 class to be NY residents. I took the Casper with 3 days of studying and interviewed before they got my score. They interviewed 12 students a month before matriculation (including me) and said they had 10 spots. The 2 that did not enter the 2026 cycle automatically received a spot in the 2027 cycle.
Seems like a great place
More about what the interviewers research interests were
The application form seemed a bit out-dated
The interviewing staff seemed really nice
Wrote out my answers to the most common questions, practiced saying them outloud, practiced smiling and listening
Interviewers were super kind
SDN, prep answers
Interviewers were friendly but not super conversational, I would try to build some rapport and mostly got blank stares.
Enjoyed the small group of interviewees and that we got to eat lunch with the students. Everyone I encountered was very friendly.
