Don't be like me, prepare answers even when they tell you not to...
After finishing my one-on-one interview, my faculty member turned off her camera so we just sat in the breakout room awkwardly and in silence until I got brought back to the main room. Instead of that being a time we could just chat or i could ask questions... which made me feel like I did horribly.
Honestly, I didn't really because they emphasized how informal it was and that it would be conversational and they didn't want us to be rehearsed. But now I feel like I rambled.
Very long interview day but it felt like there were a lot of opportunities to do well.
students expressed a lack of mental health/wellness support but faculty said they were working on it
faculty and students really passionate about school
MMI prep, practice questions online
Super conversational interview. Don’t over prepare.
Student guides seemed very stressed.
The traditional interviewer knew my whole application really well by memory, and the innovative curriculum (especially the exploration 3rd year!)
The school is very state-of-the-art in their facilities and their curriculum, which fits their attitude to provide innovation to healthcare.
Reddit, multiple public health policies and current health news articles, mock interviews
The MMI questions were not that stressful and were actually kind of interesting. The group activity wasn't too bad as well. The one-on-one was more nervewracking for me than the MMIs. Try to relax, even if the person interviewing you looks intimidating and not friendly.
Believe in yourself! If you are interviewing here its because you are the shit.
They don't stream their lectures, so you would have to attend lecture to get access to certain material.
The medical students seemed to love their school, they were a close knit group and I could tell they were happy.
Went over common interview questions as well as my experiences
