I wish I had reviewed laws of healthcare more
In the acting mode in the behavior my interviewer was stern and putting me in a tough spot, but on the outside was being calm and kind. Traditional interviewer was kind and asked common traditional questions.
Practiced with tutors and read over their website
The introduction was splendid as the group was not too big and everyone got to share a bit about themselves. They definitely seemed curious to learn more about us. The behavioral interview was stressful, but I believe they are simply trying to show us what the path will look like ahead. The meeting with the active students was a great time to ask any questions.
Both interviewers were very much "check-list" type of interviewers. They also didn't know much about the school so it was very hard to ask questions.
You go into an intro room at the beginning and the faculty are very nice!
Read the UW Ethics page to prep. Know how to discuss scenarios relating to the patient-physician relationship
The behavioral interview can be stressful. They may ask a lot of follow-up questions about very complex ethical scenarios
Unique questions, they all seemed to want to get to know me better. The faculty were very excited and welcoming
SDN questions, mock interview with my undergrad, Big Interview, UW Ethics page
I enjoyed this experience quite a bit. If you are preparing for this interview, just be confident!
Relax. Just relax. Have a conversation. Get sleep.
Nothing really - my interviewers seemed quite tired, which is to be expected, but they were still professional, kind, and courteous. I didn't necessarily think they were excited to be conducting the interview, but they seemed like good people and dedicated physicians.
The energy of the faculty and students is very welcoming - it does seem like they are on your side. I thought the interview day was organized very well, and all pieces were impactful and helpful for me. Everybody allowed me to ask the questions I needed to determine my fit for the institution.
I briefly read over my application and personal website, I made sure my zoom camera and microphone were working, and I read about some typical interview questions.
I think this is a great school, I love everything about it. currently my No. 1. I think this is where I'm going.
That it's pretty chill and conversational. The stress level was pretty low.
A bit disorganized, caused me a significant amount of stress since I did not get my agenda til a couple days before the interview.
Faculties, students, and my interviewers were all so lovely. The location of the school is great. Weather is great!
SDN, and read over my application.
