it went a little over time
the schedule seems overwhelming, and they have a very strict dress code.
the people were very nice and welcoming

The faculty & dean were very welcoming, and it did seem like they truly treat you like family when you're a student there. I don't love their curriculum, but they do have great numbers for boards & matching.
Interview: 30 seconds to read the question, 1 minute 30 seconds to respond
The interview process
The early expsure to clinical settings + thinking like a doctor (PBL)
SDN questions + attended optional info session
I think the school offers the opportunity for success through its PBL pathway, early clinical exposure, etc. I disliked the interview method because having to do it while being recorded added to the stress. I much prefer in-person or zoom interviews as it allows you to connect with the interviewer.
Looked like a great school. Great campus, great area. I don't know if it would be as enjoyable of experience as other schools, but I would not be mad to go to school there. The admission and interview process is by far the worst part of this school. They are far below the standard of any DO/MD school I have experienced.
I had everything I needed. Just focus on SND questions the most popular responses will be on there.
It was asynchronous. There was a 2 minute video before each question, they brag about some aspect of the school then ask you a simi related question. You then have 1 chance to record a est. 1.5-2 min response. The software was confusing at first, I was unsure when the recording part actually started. Then I was rejected even though my MCAT and GPA are way above the standard. I was just using the school to practice for MD interviews, but when they rejected me they didnt just email me, they made me log into the application website. They took like a month to make a decision. Worst interview process ever, and it was hurtful to insult applicants with an asynchronous interview.
Location -Florida. That's the greatest factor it has going for it in my opinion. I was rejected, but I feel like I would not be a good fit for it, possibly. I was using it as interview practice, so my heart was not in it that could be why I had a bad experience. Looks like a great school though, I just dont like the admin parts of it.
SDN, practicing, making sure nothing was in view during the recording, wearing a suit, normal professional things.
Overall had a good experience. I enjoyed the easy scheduling and relatively low stress interview format. Despite the added stress, I feel I would have preferred a real interviewer to connect with and vouch for me to the Adcom!
That there would be multiple questions to be addressed & only 30 seconds to read the long question along with think of an answer. Questions very specific to think about in a short amount of time
Not having a physical person to talk to/connect with. Could be negative because you do not have a physical interviewer to vouch for you to Adcom; just videos you have submitted thru the asynchronous interview.
Easy scheduling of the asynchronous interview that we could choose at our own time within one week of invite.
